Sound Mixing workshop with Buford Jones

Reynolds INC & Rivera International are hosting a 2 Day Sound Mixing Workshop with Buford Jones. Buford was the Front of House engineer for Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, David Bowie, ZZ Top to name but a few.
This will be a Two Day Mixing Workshop & the Fees for the same will be
Rs. 5,500/- per head. Prior registration is compulsory to attend this workshop.

Day 1:
Buford will review aspects of his extensive career as a front of house mixer working with some of the world's most renowned artists. Discussions will include a brief review of Buford's career and how he got started as a mix engineer, the benefits of mixing on linear sound systems, the importance of communication and trust between the artist and the mix engineer, the value of reviewing board mixes, and keeping organized when involved with productions or tours of any size. Buford will review a number of the tours he was involved in, including Pink Floyd's Momentary Lapse of Reason world tour. A variety of recorded samples of board mixes from different artists Buford has worked with will be played and evaluated.
Day 2:
Buford will focus more on "hands-on" mixing, he will be using a DiGiCo console and Meyer Sound as his PA system of choice. Buford has a number of different multi-channel recordings which are fed into the mixing console and he will step through his process of approaching a mix, demonstrating his use of compressors, gates, reverbs, spatial placement of elements in a mix, etc. Later in the day, attendees will be encouraged to take turns at the DiGiCo SD8 console, putting together a drum mix utilizing a virtual sound check multi-track of a drum kit Buford has put together. Buford will provide input, pointers and suggestions to the attendees on their mixes.
